Congratulations to the Awardees!

Walter Oh:

“Thanks to FIS, I have entered many different competitions last year, most of them mathematics, but also some that are physics. I have heard that more competitions are coming up soon, and I will be aiming to not only participate in these competitions for my own sake, but also help other students interested in competitions. In the next 24 months, I aim to develop more skills in other subjects as well, such as economics, computer science, Chinese and English, and hopefully improve my English essay writing, asking my friends for support when I need."

Emily Fung

“The past 14 years at FIS have been a wonderful journey, with lots of love and support from the school community. FIS has given me many opportunities to explore my interest in Math and Science, and moving forward I would like to be a chemical engineer to help solve the world’s environmental challenges.”

Sarah Hussain

“Having been at FIS since Reception, the thing that I most value is the wonderful culture, lifelong friends, and fantastic teachers.  The school has always provided a supportive learning environment, and I always felt encouraged to explore my diverse interests, ranging from literature to maths to biology.  I'm sure that my final year of IB will be very demanding, but I feel confident that the strong support of my teachers will help me through it.

Over the next year, I hope to continue progressing in my studies, and to grow the FIS charity club to new heights.  I'm also looking forward to university where I can further study how the intersection of the subjects I take can be used to solve real life problems and improve lives.  I would like to thank FIS and especially my teachers for preparing me so well for the next, exciting stage of learning and life.”
