FIS Students Honour the Fallen at Hong Kong’s Remembrance Day

11 November 2025

Every year in Hong Kong, Remembrance Day is observed at the Cenotaph in Central to honour the fallen of the First World War, the Second World War, and the Battle of Hong Kong.

Representatives from the government, consulates, armed forces, and diverse local communities stand alongside veterans to honour the sacrifices of the fallen and to reflect on the importance of peace.

Our school was proudly represented by students from the spécialité HGGSP, who had the distinct honour of laying a commemorative wreath. The students also had the valuable opportunity to speak with the French Consul and the President of Le Souvenir Français.
