A creative workshop with the author Christian Voltz

10 November 2025

We were delighted to welcome French author and artist Christian Voltz to our school during the week of October 13, 2025. He led workshops for our Kindergarten 2 and Grade 1 students across the JL, CW, and TKO campuses.

Our students were captivated by the hands-on workshop, where they crafted the character "Monsieur Louis" using recycled metal materials like pieces of iron, screws, nails, beads, buttons, and cogs. This is a familiar figure to the children, who have met him in Christian Voltz's stories.

One thing is certain: Monsieur Louis transformed our children into true young artists, their eyes full of wonder and their fingers covered in glue!
