A word from the University Guidance and Examinations Department
The University Guidance & Examinations Department wishes you all a happy holiday season and joyful and rejuvenating days off!
We will meet again in January 2025 to move forward together and will be by your side until the end of the school year!
Our mission in few words
Our mission can actually be summarized briefly: to assist students and families in making educational and career choices during their schooling and after obtaining the baccalaureate or IB diploma. Guidance counselors, in collaboration with academic teams and parents, support each student in realizing their career goals. Our aim is to enable every student to build and achieve their project in a personalized manner, fully aware of the requirements of higher education and their career prospects. Help our students of 3ème and Seconde find an internship
Before you leave, we would like to remind you that students of 3ème and Seconde at the French International School in Hong Kong will be undertaking an unpaid professional internship as part of their mandatory school program. This internship allows students to experience a professional environment and reflect on their personal career goals.
During their time at the organization, students will have the opportunity to engage in and perform simple tasks. They will be responsible for gathering information to write their internship report, observing teams in their daily tasks, and gaining a better understanding of the various functions and roles within the organization. The student will be under school status and therefore insured by the school. The internship is regulated by an agreement signed by the School, the hosting organization, the student, and the parents.
Students are required to find an internship on their own: we assist them in the search methodology.
We are reaching out to you to compile a list of contacts that we can use to support students who may need assistance in finding an internship: [FORM] - Many thanks for your commitment to serving your children, our students!
Enjoy your break and have a great start to 2025!
