Des rencontres passionnantes pour les élèves de l’option cinéma

19 January 2026

This November and December, Film Studies students enjoyed a series of inspiring exchanges during the traditional Cinema Encounters. This special event was organized in collaboration with the Alliance Française and the Hong Kong Jewish Film Festival.

Held in an intimate masterclass format on our campuses, these sessions gave our students the unique opportunity for small-group dialogues with several film industry professionals, who shared their experience and passion for the craft. Guests included Israeli director Erez Tadmor, French actor Gérard Jugnot, and actress Garance Marillier.

Through these privileged conversations, students discussed their guests' recent projects and gained a deeper understanding of the many facets of filmmaking—from screenwriting and directing to acting, production, and beyond. They participated actively, asking thoughtful questions and showing great interest in the diverse career paths of these distinguished visitors.

These dialogue-driven encounters always leave a lasting impression on our Film Studies students. They help fuel artistic curiosity and strengthen a desire to explore the art of cinema in all its forms.

A wonderful human and cultural experience that will stay with them for years to come!
