IEYC/IPC Personal Goals
Personal Learning Goals underpin the individual qualities and learning dispositions that citizens of the future will need to thrive in a demanding and ever-changing global society. They are embedded in all our learning activities and school events, from IEYC to MP3. The handbooks contain these goals, which are a lovely way to engage in conversations with your children at home about their learning at school.
Zones of Regulation
We use the Zones of Regulation to support the emotional well-being of our students in IS Primary. The Zones of Regulation is a program that helps students identify and regulate their emotions. We use this program to help our students understand their emotions, learn self-regulation, and promote positive behaviour. There will be parent workshops in term two!
Our teachers and school counsellors are here to help each student's well-being and development. Any questions or concerns you have please reach out and make contact.
Our team talented and supportive
Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC)
In term one, these will be online via Google Meet for Primary Years 1 - Years 6 the week beginning 21st November. Early Years NS and RC will be face-to-face on campus in term one. In term two, the PTC will be all face-to-face on campus. Some parents prefer online. Some prefer face-to-face. This way, all preferences are covered. More information will be shared in the coming weeks.

Would you like to be a Class or Year Group Parent in IS Primary FIS?
Each year we ask that each class or year group, depending on the age of the students, has one Class or Year Group Parent.
If you are interested, please email
- Pascale Vincent, our IS Primary JL/CW Secretary, directly by Friday, 29th September, [email protected]
- OR Marina Chong, our IS Primary TKO secretary [email protected]
The role of class or year group parent is primarily to help the teacher organise parents for class activities - it can vary a lot from class to class but could include setting up a rota for a regular activity, such as swimming lessons, to one-off volunteer support such as school trips or props needed for a school performance.
The teacher remains the main point of contact for class or homework-related queries, any issues relating to school policy or issues for individual students. But one of the joys of being a class or year group parent is getting to know the children and their parents, so be prepared for some "left field" requests!
