Health Vigilance – Increase in Infectious Illnesses (Flu‑Like Symptoms)

3 February 2026

Dear Parents,

We would like to inform you that the school has observed an increase in infectious illnesses, particularly flu‑like symptoms, within our community.

To help protect all students and staff, we kindly remind families that students with fever or other infectious symptoms must not attend school. Students should return only after full recovery and a minimum of 48 hours symptom‑free, unless otherwise advised by a medical practitioner. All illness‑related absences should be reported promptly to the school.

Good hygiene practices, including regular handwashing and appropriate respiratory etiquette, remain essential.

Important Communication and Safety Reminder:

In accordance with Hong Kong regulations, the school does not administer medications. Timely parental response is therefore particularly important—especially in cases of fever, notably among younger students—as delayed collection may pose health and welfare concerns.

Parents are reminded of the importance of being reachable during the school day. Please ensure that your contact details and emergency contacts are up to date, and we encourage you to save the school telephone numbers to avoid missing calls that may be mistaken for spam.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support in keeping our school community safe and healthy.

Best regards,
Health Department
