HKSSF Cross-Country : FIS in division 2!

FIS promoted to Division 2 this year thanks to the excellent results from last year, participated on Thursday, February 20th in the HKSSF cross country race.

This race, organized by the Hong Kong School Sports Federation, took place at the beautiful Fanling Golf Club. The sunny weather and the excellent team spirit, with participants from both of our academic streams and various classes, made for a fantastic morning!

Although moving up to a higher division and level was noticeable, our students still shone through their commitment, determination, and results, allowing FIS to remain at this level next year.

We would like to congratulate all our runners who, regardless of their individual placements, contributed to the collective effort by earning points for the overall ranking. Thanks also go to all those—parents and staff—who helped make this event possible. A special thank you to the students who, even up to the day before the race, agreed to step in for an injured or sick teammate, thus enabling their entire team to participate. And finally, a big BRAVO to our two medalists of the day, Zara De Saint Vaulry and Aemilia Rice Mileto, who took 1st and 2nd place in the A Grade girls’ category!
