Rose, Alice, Ely and Romane represent FIS at the EFHKC Inter-school Equestrian Challenge
We are proud to share that a team of four talented FIS students will be competing in the HIGHER division of the prestigious HK Interschool Equestrian Challenge 2026.
Please join us in supporting our team:
- Rose B. (International Stream, Year 9)
- Alice B. (French Stream, 3ème)
- Ely M. (French Stream, 3ème)
- Romane D. (French Stream, 5ème)
A Significant Achievement
This competition, organized by the Hong Kong Equestrian Federation and supported by major organizations like the LCSD and the HK Jockey Club, is a major event. Our four riders are the sole team representing FIS in the Higher Division, competing against 13 other well-known international schools and over 30 experienced riders. This division is exceptionally challenging, as many competitors train regularly and even own their horses.
The Challenge Ahead
The FIS team heat will take place on the afternoon of March 4, 2026, at the Tuen Mun Public Riding School. The competition consists of a jumping course (70-80cm) and a dressage test. In a test of true equestrian skill, each rider will be assigned two unfamiliar ponies—one for each discipline.
The top three teams from the heats will advance to the finals in April 2026.
Promising Preparations
To prepare, the team has been participating in training competitions with great success, earning multiple rosettes and clear rounds since October. These outstanding results are a very encouraging sign as they head into the main event!
