PINOCCHIO, A Magical Theatrical Adventure @ FIS

Overview
For the second consecutive year, students from the international and French sections (Ce2, Cm1, Cm2, and years 4, 5, and 6) embarked on an extraordinary cultural journey as part of the Share-Project. The highlight of this educational initiative was a theatrical performance at the Jardine's Lookout campus, where the acclaimed French theatre company Chorus brought the timeless tale of Pinocchio to life.
A Unique Learning Experience
Building on the resounding success of their Donkey Skin performance last year, the Chorus company promises another enchanting show that will captivate audiences of all ages.
This immersive experience extends beyond the performance itself: students had the exclusive privilege of meeting the professional actors for an intimate discussion about the acting profession. This special moment has allowed them to discover the behind-the-scenes world of theatre and nurture their passion for the performing arts.
The incredible performances of the actors on stage added to the magic of Pinocchio, which ended with the appearance of our Y4 student, Arthus Valentin.
Cultural Significance
This theatrical performance perfectly aligns with our commitment to bilingual excellence, offering students a rare opportunity to experience French theatre in an international setting. This enriching cultural and linguistic experience brings the magic of live performance to our young audience, fostering a deeper appreciation for the arts.
