Secondary School Life Photos – May 2025
Introducing 3 HK native and rare plant species in our BPR Campus
This initiative, led by our dedicated secondary school students, Celia and Sarah, is a significant step towards promoting biodiversity enrichment. It has the potential to inspire similar actions across our other FIS campuses, further enhancing our commitment to environmental stewardship. Not only does this project contribute meaningfully to biodiversity and ecosystem restoration in Hong Kong, but it also serves as an essential awareness-raising campaign for our community and beyond.

"The future we want" : a student workshop envisioning FIS' sustainable future
20 enthusiastic student volunteers presented the school sustainable development audit's findings during a morning information-sharing session. Secondary students imagined visiting the campus in 10 years time, and reported what they experience in the form of a letter from their future selves to their current selves. They created a Time Magazine cover featuring FIS as the Sustainable School of the year!

Echoes of Nature + Terminal exhibition
The artistic project "Echoes of Nature" was born from a meeting with Tim Marsh, an urban artist based in Barcelona. This project has several objectives. First, it aims to raise awareness among our young artists about the impact of species extinction on the ecosystem. Next, it allows them to experiment with spray painting techniques to create engaged and original works. Furthermore, we are organising a donation of 23 paintings, with all proceeds going to Make It Work, a local association dedicated to supporting the most vulnerable workers.
