Students of 6ème Perform Halloween for their Younger Peers
At the end of October, in sync with the "spooky pumpkin" season, our students of 6ème had the opportunity to shine on stage during a Halloween-themed concert dedicated to some Primary school students. Each class put together a captivating mini-show, blending creativity and enthusiasm. The students presented their show in the Jardine's Lookout Auditorium, dressed up for the occasion, adding a festive touch to the event.
With just four hours of preparation, our young artists worked in their music classes to create a unique sound atmosphere. They composed background music using various percussion instruments, while incorporating songs and choreographies. This interdisciplinary approach allowed the students to develop their musical skills while having fun.
The concert was also a great opportunity for interaction between students of 6ème and those from the Primary school. The energy and enthusiasm of the 6èmes captivated their young audience, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere.
This project fits perfectly within the music education program, which aims to provide students with opportunities to perform on stage. Each year, all classes of 6ème will have the chance to live this enriching experience, thus fostering their self-confidence and creativity.
We would like to congratulate all the students for their hard work and dedication. A big thank you also to all the teachers and staff who contributed to the success of this event. We look forward to experiencing more equally memorable musical moments in the years to come!
