Career Forum
Thank you to all our parents and partners for taking the time to introduce their respective professions to our Year 10, 11, 12, and 13 students from the international stream, as well as our 3ème, 2nde, 1ère, and terminale students from the French stream, last Saturday morning, March 1st.
The goal of this type of forum is to help students discover various professions and sometimes even training opportunities through discussions with professionals. Every 30 minutes, the students met a different professional who presented their job, described their daily work routine, and answered questions. This event is another valuable tool that, through its diversity, helps our students make informed decisions about their post-baccalaureate paths.
In total, for this edition, we had 30 professions presented by 33 speakers for 164 attending students.
Each person is like a tree, with its own branches, and together they form a forest of exchanges and discoveries!
A successful career orientation is built through meaningful encounters... thank you to all the participants, and bravo to our students for their curiosity!
Observation internship in a professional organization for 3ème students
Another tool that contributes to the discovery of professions and the professional world in a more concrete way is the 3ème-grade internship in a professional organization (a business, an association, a government agency, etc.).
The 3ème internship provides our middle school students with the opportunity to discover the world of work, share in the daily life of professionals, and gain hands-on experience. It also allows students to develop greater independence, build confidence in a new environment, and, potentially, refine or even confirm their career aspirations.

Observation Internship for 2nde Students
Dear readers, if you would like to host a 2nde student for an internship, please complete this short form.
Indeed, after the Troisième students, it will be the turn of students of Seconde to undertake an observational internship from Monday, June 16 to Wednesday, June 25, 2025, inclusive, in Hong Kong. This unpaid internship will take place in a professional setting as part of their mandatory school curriculum. The internship will allow them to immerse themselves in the professional world and reflect on their personal career plans.
During their time within the organization, the student will have the opportunity to get involved, carry out simple tasks, observe professionals in their daily activities, and gain a better understanding of the various roles and professions. The student remains under the school’s jurisdiction and is insured by the school. The internship is governed by a contract signed by FIS, the host organization, the student, and the parents.
We assist students in developing research methodologies to help them secure an internship independently. Additionally, we aim to compile a list of contacts that we can use to support students who may need assistance.
