Two new school policies: Anti-Drugs & Suicide Risk Mitigation
Dear Parents,
We hope this message finds you well as we begin an exciting new school year together. At the heart of our mission is the commitment to ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of every child in our community. With this in mind, we are pleased to introduce two important new policies that reflect our shared goal of protecting and supporting our students.
Building on the foundations of the Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and the FIS Anti-Bullying Policy, which were introduced last year, we are proud to announce the launch of:
- The FIS Anti-Drugs Policy
- The Suicide Risk Mitigation Policy, which includes clear procedures for enhancing student well-being.
These policies are now available on the Parents’ Portal, and we encourage all families to review them. By working together, we can create an environment where every student feels safe, supported, and able to thrive.
We believe these measures will strengthen the effectiveness of the FIS Strategic Plan and reinforce our collective dedication to building a nurturing community for our children.
If you have any questions, thoughts, or concerns, we welcome you to share them.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we can ensure the success and well-being of every child in our care.
